The Ultra 3 has its own nano-SIM slot with built-in 5G LTE. Insert a data SIM and the device runs its own mobile connection — completely independent of your phone. Your phone can be on a call, flat, or out of coverage. Navigation and audio keep running without interruption.
Both Ultra 1 and Ultra 2 already include 4G LTE SIM slots. The Ultra 3 upgrades this to 5G, delivering faster speeds and more consistent streaming in congested city networks where 4G bands often get saturated.

Tall buildings block and reflect satellite signals, causing single-band GPS to drift. The UHD/Ambient series and TBox Ultra 2 use L1 single-band GPS and have no way to self-correct this error.
The Ultra 3 uses L1+L5 dual-band GPS, receiving two satellite signals simultaneously and cross-referencing them. It also connects to four satellite networks at once — GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo — for significantly more reference points. TBox Ultra 1 also has L1+L5 dual-band; the UHD/Ambient series and Ultra 2 do not.

The UHD and Ambient series use the SM6225 or SDM660 on Android 13 — older chips with less processing headroom for sustained multitasking. The Ultra 3 runs Snapdragon SM6350 on Android 15: the system stays responsive after hours of continuous use, app switching doesn't cause a pause, and the latest versions of Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube all run normally.
